Welcome The Spirit

God,

You are without beginning or end,

Creator of the universe;

The source of life and love

You have all the power and authority,

All wisdom and knowledge.

You are unique in your holiness,

Set apart from those you have created

And yet you are seen ever present within your creation.

You are seen in the beauty of your creation;

In the golden blaze of a sunset,

In the delicate glory of the flowers.

You are felt in the gentle touch of a friend.

You are heard in the whisper of a breeze.

God,

You are so awesome and mighty,

Yet gentle and kind;

Righteous and just,

Yet full of grace and mercy.

You are the shepard who leads and protects.

You are the saviour who surrendered himself

To redeem mankind.

You are,

The Father who feeds and nurtures and loves,

Endlessley, completely, uncondionally.

You are far beyond imagination.

Personal and intimate in your revelation of yourself

To all who will acknowledge you.

Amen.

O Lord, give me a heart of compassion,

To put others needs before my own.

Grant me the gift of humility, i pray,

That your grace may be sufficent for me.

For in my weakness, Your strength is made perfect,

In my dependance, your glory is displayed.

May i recieve Your strength and wisdom,

Through Your spirit who dwells within me.

O Lord, i pray for love and understanding,

For the suffering and hurt souls of this world,

That i may be Your instrument of healing,

Your hands and feet and heart to serve.

May i bring lost souls to know You,

That they may feel Your tender loving care,

As in Your arms You enfold them,

Until in Heaven your peace we share.
